Attorney Peter A. Savitski began his career as a Prosecutor for the City of Rockford in 1977. He started his general practice of law on July 4, 1979, and has litigated on a daily basis in all courts since that time. In 2010, 2014, and 2015 he received notification from Martindale Hubble that he had been Peer Review rated BV Distinguished, a very high rating in both legal ability and ethical standards. In 2008, Attorney Savitski was awarded the Edward Potter Lathrop medal by the Winnebago County Bar Association in recognition of distinguished professional achievement and service to the public. Attorney Savitski, throughout his career, has been a member of the Winnebago County Bar Association and the State of Illinois Bar Association. His community involvement includes serving on the Board of Directors of the Rockford Reachout Jail Ministry, Children’s Safe Harbor, Inc., and the Barbara Olson Center of Hope, on which he also served two terms as President.
